LET THE FACE OF CHANGE BE YOU
PSFK’s Future of Mobile Tagging report presents key trends in the mobile tagging space, so as to inspire creative agencies about their future use of technologies that include QR codes, barcodes and Microsoft Tags in branding and communication campaigns. This document brings together both literal and lateral inspiration to provide a framework within which organizations can begin to contemplate the issues facing the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and their fundraising efforts.
To start this exciting conversation, PSFK challenged advertising and design agencies from around the world to react to the Future of Mobile Tagging report. They were tasked with developing concepts making use of Microsoft Tag to address one or more of the needs set forth by the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in a creative brief. After the initial phase of ideation Live With Design was chosen as one of the 10 standout concept programs.
The Microsoft Tag for UNICEF, “Let the Face of Change Be You” campaign facilitates donations through interactive connection points in key neighborhoods and cities. A connection point consists of a display that exhibits a mosaic of UNICEF’S supporters, that are updated in real time. The Microsoft Tag invites passersby to participate immediately and be the face of change.
Upon scanning the Mircosoft Tag, the user is instantly connected to a compelling video of UNICEF’S work. These videos illustrate donor and ambassador participation at the core of UNICEF’S work. The overall message is to motivate and connect with potential supporters.
Resulting in the experience ending with a call of action.
The user donates and has an opportunity to submit their photo and become one of the exhibited and celebrated faces, of people who support UNICEF’S core mission. The goal of the campaign is to make UNICEF immediately accessible through the lens of everyday people and engage the current and future donor’s to become ambassadors themselves for UNICEF.
